Nick Moxon<\/strong> is the minister for Portishead (High Street), Redcliffe Bay and Pill churches. He is currently Superintendent of the Circuit, and also has temporary pastoral oversight of Christchurch. He has been a Methodist minister for 20 years and his previous appointment was as Evangelism Enabler for the Lancashire district for 9 years.

When he has time, Nick likes to keep fit. He has taken part in a number of triathlons from short races to one that took him six and a half hours! “I love being out on my bike, swimming up and down the pool or running around the marina here in Portishead. I do most of my sermon preparation when doing exercise.”

Nick has a passion to see people discover who God has created them to be and to live out their faith in their daily lives. “Sometimes that takes folk away from doing ‘church jobs’ but it’s more important that followers of Jesus live out their faith wherever they are and whoever they are with.” Nick feels that his role is to equip his congregation to be ‘whole-life disciples’.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Sally Ratcliffe<\/strong> is the minister at Yatton, Nailsea and West Town, Backwell and arrived in September 2024. She has been a minister for 20 years. She is married to Mike and has two grown up children, Amy and Matt. Sally\u2019s passion is intergenerational ministry where all are welcomed and engaged in learning about God and worshipping God together. Before starting in ministry, Sally was a primary school teacher which she loved and still enjoys being involved with schools\u2019 ministry. Sally says, \u2018a class of four year olds is her happy place\u2019! Prior to arriving in the Gordano Valley Circuit, Sally worked and lived in the Northwest. Nailsea is further south than she and Mike ever imagined they would live! Sally is a keen crafter, enjoying crochet, paper crafts, cross stitch and very recently sewing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
