Gordano Valley Circuit Reserves level and policy

At the September 2022 Circuit Meeting the following Reserves Policy was approved:
To maintain a minimum reserve based four months’ expenditure (excluding Ministers’ stipends), half
of which to be held by the Circuit with half to be held by circuit churches, plus approximately one
year’s budgeted expenditure on manse maintenance, a £1,000 allowance for mission initiatives and
an allowance for future stationing costs.
The minimum reserves required under this policy based on the budget for 2025-26 are £63,280 to be
held by the Circuit plus £30,780 to be held by circuit churches in respect of the circuit assessment.
